Launches High-Quality Overhead Water Tanks With Silver Ion Powered Anti-Bacterial Treatment
New Delhi, October 22, 2020: Reaffirming its commitment towards introducing high quality plumbing products, TRUFLO by Hindware, a leading plastic pipes and fittings solution company in India, forayed into the overhead water storage tank segment with the range of durable and sturdy water tanks.
Introduced in February 2018, TRUFLO by Hindware reinforces the commitment of brand Hindware towards excellence and innovation that has been upheld since the past six decades. In 2019, TRUFLO by Hindware received NSF/ANSI 14 Certification for CPVC Pipes and fittings.
The manufacturing facility is Platinum certified green building by IGBC and the sustainable manufacturing process is GreenCo Platinum rated by CII. This facility becomes the first manufacturing plant in piping industry across the nation to have these two coveted certifications.
With its entry into the water tanks segment, TRUFLO by Hindware is entering into its next phase of expansion in the plumbing category. The new sturdy water tank range is manufactured with food grade compliant LLDPE material. The Silver Ion powered Anti-bacterial treatment brings resistance to microbial growth and retains the water safety levels for longer durations.

The new water tank range comes with 5-year warranty and comprises of three models – Dura, Dura Plus and Dura Cool.
While the Dura and Dura plus offers 3 layered tanks with assurance of safety and durability, the 4-layered Dura Cool variant provides premium quality insulation which ensures water temperature is relatively cooler.
Largely dominated by unorganised players, the water tanks market is expected to grow at a steady rate of 10% over the next few years in India. Factors such as increasing construction activities, aging water infrastructure and rising regulations on waste water management are expected to add to the growth momentum of the segment. With its new product range, TRUFLO by Hindware is aiming to cater to the growing demand with its differentiated offerings.
These products are manufactured using the roto-moulding process and are commonly used for domestic and commercial areas requiring vast quantities of clean and safe water storage.
