On this Global Wellness Day on June 11th  let us reaffirm that our inner wellness is far more important than our external appearance. The pandemic in fact has taught us this lesson well. We now know that taking care of our health needs focused efforts and for this, we need to include the right foods and nutrients in our diet on a daily basis.

Vitamin C has been a buzzword all through the pandemic, so much so that now everyone knows about the importance of this nutrient, and rightly so. It is known for its support in immune system. Well, besides supporting our immune system, vitamin C also has antioxidant properties. Vitamin C also helps in iron absorption.

It is not difficult to include in your regular diet. The fact is that while citrus fruits (oranges, lime, lemon) may be the most famous source of vitamin C, a lot many other fruits and vegetables are also rich in this vitamin, and often even exceed the amounts found in citrus fruits say oranges and lemon.

Try to have at least two vitamin C rich foods (Guava, Amla (gooseberry), Bell peppers (yellow, red and green), Orange, Papaya, Kiwi, BroccoliLychees) everyday to make sure you get enough of this very important vitamin.

Another way to get more vitamin C in our diet is via foods and drinks with added vitamin C like the Tetley Green Tea Immune which besides delivering the goodness of green tea also provides vitamin C.
