New Delhi, September 01, 2021: Today, Reebok unveils the Classic Leather Legacy AZ, a new silhouette inspired by the archival AZTEC II. The Classic Leather Legacy AZ is a re-imagined take on the Classic Leather Legacy, featuring contemporary shapes and materials with a retro design ethos.
The brand leveraged the AZTEC II’s original design as a blueprint for creating the Classic Leather Legacy AZ. The new silhouette is a blend of newness and nostalgia, resulting in a fresh, yet vintage-inspired sneaker. To modernize the Classic Leather Legacy AZ, Reebok incorporated angular design lines, reflecting a fast, futuristic design cue. Additionally, the sneaker incorporates the return of a back heel clip, a detail that Reebok often incorporated into its shoes in the past and for this model, has been exaggerated to appeal to today’s consumer.
The Classic Leather Legacy AZ will be initially launched in two colorways, both representing a modern twist on the brand’s iconic AZTEC II colorways, other attractive colorways will be launched in the near future. Additionally, the shoe also features a midsole shelf and a modernized bottom, further differentiating it from previous Classic Leather Legacy models. Ultimately, the Classic Leather Legacy AZ bridges Reebok’s iconic past with a restructured, on-trend sneaker for the future.
The first two Classic Leather Legacy AZ colorways are now available in unisex sizes at INR 6,999/- on shop4reebok.com, select retailers and VegNonVeg. Other fashion retailers such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Ajio will also see a wide range of the new footwear.
