Mumbai, January 20, 2018: Participants at The Tata Mumbai Marathon will get an extra energy boost during their run this year. Soulflower – India’s leading brand for natural aroma and personal care products has been engaged to set up mist fans along the route that would exude invigorating aromas and stimulate the runners.
“Aromas can play an important role in boosting the respiratory system. Aerobic activities like running can literally leave one gasping for breath. Mist fans sprinkled with specific blend of pure essential oils will stimulate the runners and help them respire better. Aromas are more powerful than we think,” says Mr Amit Sarda, Managing Director, Soulflower.
Soulflower will be setting up 180 mist fans along the route. They will be deployed at varying heights to evenly spread the aromas in the air. “In a city like Mumbai, the mist fans boosted with Soulflower aromas will also cut the impact of pollution. By dissipating a blend of pure essential oils, which are known for their calming effect and boosting energy, we will be ensuring a much better environment for the runners,” adds Mr. Sarda.
Soulflower has aromatized over 500 establishments including malls, hotels, temples and showrooms. The company has in the past crafted signature aromas for Mercedes Benz, India and was also commissioned with aromatizing of the Shirdi Sai Baba temple.
“Our forte is in offering natural solutions for the body and mind and we have mastered the art of extracting the goodness of nature without diluting or tampering with its intrinsic properties. So the oils that we offer under our aromatherapy range are not just pure and natural but also are products that have retained their most effective properties. So when the runners breathe, not only will they receive healthy puffs of air that would help their bodies but also the aroma will help keep their minds relaxed. Soulflower had curated a similar activity for the Delhi Half Marathon that took place in November 2017 for which we received a great response from the marathoners. We feel positive about receiving a similar feedback for the Mumbai Marathon activity as well,” concludes Mr Sarda.
The Tata Mumbai Marathon is Asia’s largest and India’s richest race. It carries a prize pool of $405,000 and will be held on January 21, 2018.
