New Delhi, November 03, 2017: Two wheeler maker Royal Enfield on Wednesday posted a growth of 18 per cent in its total sales at 69,492 units in October against 59127 units in the same month last year.
The domestic sales stood at 68014 units in the month under review as compared to 58379 units in the same month last year, registering a growth of 17 per cent.
Meanwhile, the company exported 1478 motorcycles against 748 units.
As a part of the company’s focused growth strategy and international thrust to expand the mid-sized motorcycle segment (250-750cc), the company today inaugurated its first flagship store in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), with Al Naboodah International (VN) as its official dealer in Vietnam.
Royal Enfield has entered Vietnam with three of its widely popular models featuring single-cylinder engines, that includes Bullet 500, Classic 500 and the Continental GT 535 cc.
