Bangalore, October 06, 2018: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, XavierInstitute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME) organized a cleaning drive in the back market road around XIME College in Electronic City here today.
Around 100 students along with the faculty and XSEED Club members of XIME got together at 8 AM along with brooms and other cleaning paraphernalia for carrying out the cleanliness drive.
The students began to clean the roads, a stretch of around one and half to two kilometer and finished the same in a span of 2hours.
Dr. Rony George Kurien, Director, XIME Bangalore also joined the students along with the faculty members in the cleaning drive.
“It is the responsibility of each and every citizen to keep our country clean. Swachh Bharat begins at home and in each and every nook and corner of every city. We are proud to be a part of this Swachh Bharat campaign conducted by our college”, said a management student of XIME.
XIME action group for social empowerment, education & development (XSEED), is an initiative by XIME to make the students realize and understand their social responsibilities by sensitizing them to give back to the society through several events and activities thus preparing them for future endeavours. Right from its inception, XSEED is not about an idea that we sell, it is an experience, the satisfaction you get when you realize that you are the reason behind a smile. All it takes is just a little Support with Some Time, Some Care and Some Love. The objective of the XSEED club is to contribute to college life by creating positive experience through social activities and to bridge the gap between academic principles and principles of society.

- REDS ( weekend classes for street children)
- Children’s day celebration with school children
